Information for Students TRF

The association’s “ Student ABC” contains lots of valuable information and tips. It therefore not only offers orientation for first-year students, but is also interesting for students in higher semesters.

In addition to Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, the TRF also offers various PhD conferrals – either as part of an individual doctorate or in a doctoral program. Information on admission, the PhD thesis, supervision and curricular components can be found in the section “for PhD candidates.”

The ancient languages Latin, Greek and Hebrew are requirements for the respective method modules Biblical Studies and Church History. In the Study of Religion, all languages that are relevant to research can be credited (entire range offered by UZH). Detailed information on current language courses as well as information on the workload or required textbooks can be found in the course catalogue.

Study houses
The Reformed Student Houses Zurich offer excellent accommodation during your studies in Zurich. Since 2022, there has also been the Evangelisches Studienhaus Zurich – it is explicitly aimed at theology students and young people with a Christian lifestyle and serves as a bridge between academy, community and housing.

During the course of your studies, you may experience personal crises or problems and conflicts with a supervisor. In such cases, please contact the Student Organization Board by e-mail. All inquiries and complaints are taken seriously and treated in strict confidence.
